Road Trip!

Our first club drive was from Crossville to Fall Creek Falls State Park, about 100 miles round trip. The turn-out exceeded our expectations. We had one MG TD, one MG A, four MG B’s, one Mini Cooper, one A-H 3000, a VW Rabbit (their TR is being restored), and a Chevy P/U (with a sticker that said “My other car is a Triumph”) as a chase vehicle to pick up any parts that fell off along the way. Happy to report no parts were dropped and no cars dropped out. The mini-Cooper wasn’t from our club. One of the members from the English Auto Society in Knoxville joined us with his Mini.

Heading South on Hwy 101

The real reason so many folks showed up - Good Chow!

Well I don't know where we are either!

Home again, home again: Left, heading East on Hwy 30, off the mountain and (below left) into the beautiful Sequatchie Valley and then onto Hwy 127 North.

Above, we certainly had a variety of Little Brit Cars on display. One of our member cars, an A-H 3000 belonging to Denny & Mary Burmeister, was parked about a block away.

Right, the Mini world of change. Tne new Minis aren't as mini as the older Minis are mini.
